Members of the Harford County Boys and Girls Clubs were invited to the White House on September 25th to witness President Trump signing a STEM initiative. The clubs were chosen to participate because of their interactive program and the advanced projects that the members have completed, according to a press release.
One member, Owen Jurch of Bel Air, created a fidget spinner on a 3D printer and brought it to the White House as a gift for the President.
According to the club, President Trump promised the kids a White House pen as he believes they will be “signing this [STEM initiative] in the future for the next generation!"
