Good Morning Maryland team helps Harford Family House

Posted

Raising a family is tough enough, but if you're homeless, it's difficult to find a fresh start. The Harford Family House works hard to provide those families transitional housing.

In need of volunteers, the Good Morning Maryland team headed to Harford County to help out at the organization.

Anchors Ashley James and Christian Schaffer, along with Meteorologist Lynette Charles, searched through dozens of donated items at the organizations office to find the right items to bring into one family's new home. Among the gems, a pair of Redskins glass, that Christian was not bringing along.

"Those are staying here. This family is going to get Ravens stuff," he said.

Once a truck was full, the team left to set up the family's new home. The Harford Family House is always looking for volunteers and donations to do this for families in need. For more information on the organization, click here.
