Nine people were left without a home following a fire Monday afternoon in Darlington.
The Red Cross is assisting five adults and four children. Several family pets died in the fire, which began shortly after 4 p.m. in the 4000 block of Conowingo Road.
A GoFundMe site has been established for the family.
The damage was estimated to be around $60,000. It took 50 firefighters about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control. The cause is under investigation.
