BEL AIR, Md. — A two alarm fire at a Bel Air auto repair garage has caused an estimated $1 million in damages.

It happened just before 12:45 p.m. on Thursday at Weaver's Auto body warehouse, in the 700 block of Bel Air Road.

Dozens of firefighters from Harford and Baltimore Counties responded, getting the fire under control in about 45 minutes.

No one was injured during the fire. Officials say the cause was accidental and the result of combustible materials igniting while someone was welding.

The fire temporarily impacted area traffic, closing Tollgate Road, between Bel Air Road and Boulton Street, and Bel Air Road, between Tollgate Road and Lake Fanny Hill.
