A pickup truck in Joppa, Md., was ravaged by a roadside blaze Sunday night.

A passerby contacted the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company about a Chevrolet Silverado on fire in the 300 block of Breslin Road. The truck is owned by Rodney Harris Jr.

Firefighters got the flames under control in about five minutes and no injuries were reported. Investigators think the blaze started in the truck's bed. The vehicle's near-complete damage represents a loss of roughly $30,000, with an additional $1,000 in damage coming from tools lost in the flames.

Anyone with information about the fire should contact 410-836-4844.
