WHITEFORD, Md (WMAR) — The Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating after a Harford County trailer home went up in flames on Wednesday night.
It occurred in the 4000 block of Prospect Road in Whiteford, but by 7 p.m. crews from Harford County and York County, Pennsylvania had contained the fire.
The homeowner sustained non-life threatening injuries, and was transported to an area hospital.
Harford County Animal Control seized seven birds and a cat from the location and took them for evaluation.
It's unclear what caused the fire, and how much damage it caused.
