ABERDEEN, Md. — Aberdeen High School got a big donation on Monday.
Alumni and 'The Mind Band' donated more than $5600 to its AVID program.
The money will help cover training fees for teachers and staff and help expand the program. The donation will also help pay for field trips and stoles for graduating AVID seniors.
AVID is a national program that has been at Aberdeen High School since 2013.
