A house fire in Edgewood caused $90,000 in damage and displaced eight people Saturday.
Around 10:18 p.m., firefighters from the Joppa-Magnolia volunteer fire company were called to a townhome in the 600 block of Harrpark Court, according to fire officials.
Twenty-five firefighters controlled the fire within 25 minutes, but not before the blaze caused $80,000 structural damage and $10,000 damage to the home's contents.
Investigators believe the fire started on the back deck, but the initial cause is under investigation.
Investigators say there were no smoke alarms present in the home.
