A 16-year-old boy died after being hit by a car in White Hall, Harford County Fire and EMS and the Maryland State Police said.
The accident occurred at about 6:42 a.m. in the 4400 block of Norrsville Road. Police said the boy, later identified as Kyle Lynam, ran out into the road and was struck by a Chevy Tahoe, driven by 40-year-old William P Murphy Jr. who remained on the scene.
Lynam was taken to a local hospital for stabilization where he later died, according to State Police. No drugs or alcohol are suspected to be involved.
Police closed the road between Troyer Road and Daisy Lane to investigate, but have since reopened the span.
