Maryland State Police said a small plane had to make an emergency landing in a bean field on the Eastern Shore Friday afternoon.
An Arion Lighting Airplane occupied by just the pilot made an emergency landing in the field near Church Creek in Dorchester County around 3 p.m. A Maryland State Police helicopter found the airplane and landed. The pilot was uninjured in the incident.
The cause of the emergency is under investigation.
