Officials have identified a body found weeks after a plane crashed in Ocean City.
The crash happened on March 1, around 10:15 in the morning. Officials noticed a plane that was en route to Ocean City the night before had not landed. An investigation showed that two people were on the plane which was found in the ocean only 1.5 miles away from the Ocean City Airport.
Only one body was recovered, and on Friday officials identified the body as the pilot, Marcson Ngwa of Windsor Mill, Maryland.
Officials believe the second person on the plan was 28-year-old Benica Mesha Richards-Robinson, but they have not found her body. They have reported her as a missing person.
