CECIL COUNTY, Md. — A number of people have been displaced after a fire in Cecil County.
It happened at a townhouse in the 300 block of Friendship Road.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal says the fire started from the basement.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Authorities say it took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
The people who were living in the home are being assisted by the Red Cross.
