SYKESVILLE, Md. — The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 38-year-old Sykesville man wanted in connection to a series of crimes that took place Wednesday evening.
Deputies were originally called just before 7 p.m. to a home in the 5200 block of Stone Mill Court for a report of a domestic assault.
Kevin Michael Gardner allegedly assaulted a family member before taking off in their vehicle without permission.
About a half hour later, deputies responded to a road rage incident in the 1300 block of Liberty Road.
A different victim said they were stopped at a red light, when a car pulled up beside them with the driver showing a handgun.
That victim was able to get the car's tag number, which turned out to be the tag of the vehicle stolen by Gardner.
The stolen vehicle was eventually found in Baltimore City, but Gardner remains on the loose.
He currently has a warrant out for his arrest.
