The Carroll County Sheriff's Office has identified Leonard Anthony Zapalowski, 67, of the 1500 block of Fannie Dorsey Road as the male victim found dead inside a Sykesville home.

The victim's identity was withheld until the next of kin could be notified. No further information is available.
The case remains open pending the determination of cause of death from the Medical Examiner's Office.
