HAMPSTEAD, Md. — A fire has consumed a barn in Carroll County.
Flames broke out around 9:30 Tuesday night on Falls Road in Hampstead.
Arriving firefighters found a wood frame barn with sheet metal rood engulfed.
It took dozens of crew members about an hour to contain the scene.
The fire left behind an estimated $200,000 in damage, but no one was injured.
Investigators with the State Fire Marshal's Office are still looking into the cause.
