Carroll sheriff asks POTUS to note slain police

Over the weekend Carroll County Sheriff Jim DeWees posted an open letter on Facebook calling for President Obama to speak on the recent line-of-duty police deaths.

The social media post calls the president into question over not publicly recognizing eight law enforcement deaths, including two in Harford County last week.

The post had garnered more than 21,600 likes, 18,667 shares and 1,738 comments as of Monday evening.
