Four people confirmed dead after a car crash in Westminster.

WESTMINISTER, Md. (WMAR) - Carroll County investigators say that an officer that was headed to another call saw the suspect car driving 100 MPH on Route 31 and tried to stop the vehicle.
Officials say that the suspect car burst into flames after it tried to pass a car, hit another car, and completely lost control. They say that in the second car involved 3 people were killed.
According to a spokesperson from Westminster Fire Department, four people confirmed dead after a car crash in Westminster.
Officials say that the crash involved two cars and was reported around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is investigating the scene and Route 31 is closed.
