A 24-year-old woman was killed in a car accident Tuesday morning in Arbutus.
Baltimore County Police said Jessica Lauren Bowen was driving her Chevrolet Cobalt east in the 5100 block of Westland Boulevard around 6:30 a.m. when she entered the westbound lane and struck a Ram van head on. The van then hit a parked car that was unoccupied.
Bowen was taken to St. Agnes Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Ram's driver was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition is unknown.
The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Crash Team.
