DPW officials confirm the water main break occurred in the 1100 block of Daniels Ave in Gwynn Oak.
The Department of Public Works said that as of 8 a.m., valve crews were on the scene turning the water off.
An estimated 50-services are without water at this time. There's no estimated time of repair as crews are still investigating. Officials said breaks are typically repaired within a few hours.
Officials ask that people call 311 when they see a water main break or lose water service. For Baltimore County customers the number is 410-396-5352.
