Baltimore County Police charged two boys with shooting multiple cars, including an unmarked police car in Sparks on August 24.
This happened as the cars were traveling along Phoenix Road near York Road.
Tyler Getz,18, and Timothy Staples, 17, both face multiple counts of 1st Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and Malicious Destruction of Property.
SWAT and K9 units were called along with additional support officers who began canvasing the area for the suspect. In about one hour, five vehicles that were driving on Phoenix Road were hit by gunfire, including one of the unmarked police vehicles that was searching for the suspect.
An investigation led to police charging Getz and Staples.
One of the teens lives in a neighborhood that runs adjacent to the field from where the shots were determined to have been fired.
Both teens have been released on a $10,000 bond.
