Baltimore County fire officials have identified a 14-year-old girl who died after a tree fell on her car in Timonium Thursday afternoon as Ahjee Lawrence of the unit block of Hogarth Circle in Cockeysville.
Lawrence was an 8th grader at Cockeysville Middle School.
Police were called to a crash on Pot Spring Road at Deer Fox Lane just after 5:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find a tree on top of a Hyundai Sonata with four people inside.

Lawrence, sitting in the back seat of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other girls, ages 13 and 16, were taken to Johns Hopkins Children’s Center with non-life threatening injuries. The driver, Lawrence's mother, was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A strong line of storms passed through the area Thursday afternoon causing numerous downed trees.
Police are investigating.
