Student with autism voted homecoming king at Parkville High School

PARKVILLE, Md. (WMAR) — On Saturday, over 800 students at Parkville High School celebrated their homecoming dance.

It was a special night Dorsey Keith will never forget after his fellow students voted him the homecoming king.

What you should know about Dorsey is he's on the autism spectrum. According to his school, Dorsey is well liked and respected by his peers.

"Whenever Parkville High’s Dorsey Keith walks into a room, he finds himself at the center of the conversation," said a staffer.

In the past, Dorsey has been a big part of Autism Awareness Day at his school, which has nearly 100 students on the autism spectrum.
