Residents protest Royal Farms development in Towson

A proposal to build a Royal Farms on one of the busiest corners in Towson was protested Monday night.

Residents turned out for a Baltimore County Council meeting to express their concern against a convenience store at the intersection of York Road and Bosley Avenue.

Four years ago a group won a bid to develop the site and it wants to build a Royal Farms. Senator Jim Brochin said it was all about the money and not what's best for the community.

Councilman David Marks introduced a resolution to revisit the deal.
