A photo of a Baltimore County Police officer fist bumping a young admirer inside of a Chick-fil-A restaurant is being praised on social media.

The image was shared to the Baltimore County Police Facebook page Wednesday by user Jordan Miller who says she saw the moment while dining at the Chick-fil-A location on Joppa Road in Parkville. Miller says the little boy’s mother asked the uniformed officer to say hello to her son because he “just loves police officers.”

The officer then walked over and knelt down to chat with the boy. When he went in for a fist bump goodbye, Miller captured their farewell on film.

“The elation this little boy exhibited made the world stop just for a moment, proving there IS good in this world,” Miller wrote on Facebook. “There ARE good-no scratch good-AMAZING police officers out there. There IS hope for our law enforcement. These moments ARE real and DO happen.”

To date, the image has been shared more than 600 times on Facebook.
