Baltimore County Police are investigating skeletal remains of a person that were found Tuesday evening in Essex.
Officers were called to the area of Route 702 and Eastern Boulevard in Essex after a person discovered the decomposed skeletal remains of a human just after 7 p.m.
The remains will be taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for identification purpose and to determine the cause and manner of death, police said.
The Baltimore County Homicide Unit continues to investigate.
