Passenger in Kingsville crash dies after car catches fire; driver still in critical condition

KINGSVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a fatal vehicle crash that left one person dead and another in critical condition.

On Wednesday, at around 7 p.m., officers were called to Bradshaw Road after a Chrysler 300 that had been traveling northbound on Raphel Road, near the intersection of Bradshaw Road, crossed the oncoming lane of traffic and collided with a BGE pole, struck a tree and then caught fire.

The male driver and female passenger both suffered life-threatening wounds and burns following the crash. The passenger, who has been identified as 24-year-old Samantha Jean Muehleisen, of the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive, was pronounced dead on the scene, but the driver was taken to an area hospital and remains in critical condition.
