One man is dead and another in critical condition after the truck they were in flipped over and ejected the two men.

Police said the 1994 Chevy pickup truck was going south on Wilson Point Road near Alder Drive in Essex around 11:30 Thursday night when the driver lost control, hit multiple parked cars and rolled over. The passenger and driver were both thrown from the truck. Neither of them was wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

Police said the passenger, identified as Bryan Mast, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 23-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital where he remains is in critical condition.
