More than half of northwest Baltimore County's elementary schools are over capacity, according to an annual report released by Baltimore County Public Schools.
The northwest area has 21 elementary schools, 12 of which are considered over capacity. Milbrook Elementary and Summit Park Elementary are each more than 130 percent over capacity. Four others are more than 116 percent over capacity - New Town Elementary, Reisterstown Elementary, Scotts Branch Elementary and Woodholme Elementary.

Despite so many elementary schools over capacity, the enrollment at all of the middle and high schools is within capacity.
