TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) — The man responsible for what turned out to be a fatal hit and run has plead guilty to one count.

On Monday, Man Bahadur Gurung plead guilty to failing to stop at a vehicle collision involving a fatality.

It was last year on December 8, when 20-year-old Towson University student Mzimazisi Ncube was crossing N. Charles Street when he was first struck by a Toyota Tundra driven by Gurung.

Ncube was then struck a second time by another vehicle, which killed him.

Police used surveillance footage and traced back some auto parts left at the scene to track Gurung down over a week later.

Gurung now faces up to five years behind bars, his sentencing has been scheduled for December 13.
