A man is charged with murder after a missing woman is found dead in her home.
Kenneth Quick Jr., 44, of Jarretsville faces 1st degree attempted murder charges in the death of Athena Dardamanis, 63.
She was found inside her home in the 8600 block of Trumps Mill Road in Rosedale on September 22.
She was reported missing by friends on September 21. Homicide detectives were called to investigate when officers determined there were suspicious factors surrounding her disappearance.
An autopsy conducted Friday, September 22, determined the manner of death to be homicide by multiple traumatic injuries.
Police say Quick had stayed in Dardamanis' home on recent occasions and he owed her a large sum of money, which she had told friends she intended to collect just before her disappearance.
Quick is being held on no bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center pending trial.
