GWYNN OAK, Md. — A 22-year-old man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Gwynn Oak on Saturday night.

It happened around 6 p.m. on Liberty Road at the intersection of Sedgemoor Road.

Baltimore County Police say Sidney Anthony Green was riding the motorcycle eastbound on Liberty Road when he struck the right front fender of a Nissan Murano attempting to turn left on Sedgemoor from westbound Liberty Road.

Green, of Windsor Mill, was pronounced deceased on scene. The occupants of the Nissan were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

It's unclear at this time who was at fault or what caused the crash. Police didn't say if speeding, alcohol, or drugs played a factor.

The Baltimore County Police Department's crash team is continuing to investigate.
