We're one step closer to enjoying a pint of Guinness at a brewery in Baltimore County.

The Board of Liquor License Commissioners approved a permit for the new taproom in Relay, Maryland. The parent company of Guinness plans to build a brewery, a micro-brewery and a taproom that will be open to visitors.

The multi-million dollar investment is expected to bring 70 new jobs.

This would be the first Guinness Brewery in the U.S. in 63 years. An opening date still hasn't been announced.
