Baltimore County homeowners will be receiving their property tax bills shortly, but there could be an error.
The Office of Budget and Finance says some of the bills contain system-generated errors. Residents are asked to disregard those bills. The County says not all bills are affected by the error, but that corrected bills will be sent.
Corrected property tax bills will be sent with revised information. The County says the process of correcting and mailing will take up to four weeks.
Baltimore County will be extending its discount for homeowners who pay their bills in July through August. A copy of the letter is available online.
