Employee stabbed at Towson convenience store

TOWSON, Md. (AP) - Baltimore County Police say a convenience store employee was seriously injured when he was repeatedly stabbed.
 
The department said in a news release that about 4 p.m. Tuesday, a person went behind the counter at Quick Mart on Loch Hill Road in Towson, where the employee was working. The suspect stabbed the employee repeatedly.
 
Police say the employee ran out the front door and the suspect fled.
 
Investigators say the employee, a 39-year-old man, is being treated at a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.
