LOCHEARN, Md. — Liberty Road has been blocked off in both directions near I-695 for emergency repairs to a gas line.
Baltimore DPW says that on Sunday night a crew was working on a 12" main in the area when they accidentally struck a gas line.
One home as without gas and 30 others were without water but water services have since been restored.
Full roadwork remains to be completed before Liberty Road can reopen at the Beltway.
