The Baltimore Humane society celebrated Dogfest Saturday afternoon. This festival is the largest dog day and community event of the year for the Baltimore Humane Society.

It’s a dog day extravaganza for pets, pet owners, and pet lovers that benefit animals in need of care and refuge at the no-kill shelter.

People enjoyed food, games, and swimming for their dogs.

Pets could enjoy a game of bowling, run agility courses, play hide and seek or create paw paintings.

Pet owners had the opportunity to enter their pups in the best kisser, best costume and best photo competition.

Winners of the competitions were award amazing prizes including the opportunity to be featured in both Style Magazine and Maryland Dog Magazine.

Proceeds raised at Dogfest will benefit all the animals at Baltimore Humane Society's private, non-profit, no-kill shelter. Baltimore Humane Society receives no operational funding from any local or federal governments, or any national animal welfare organizations. Their doors remain open through support of the community.
