Baltimore County police have identified the pedestrian hit by a car and killed in Cockeysville Thursday morning.
Police have identified the man as 67-year-old Behrooz Yazdanian.
Yazdanian was hit by a car just after 7 a.m. on York Road near Industry Lane.

York Road was shut down in both directions at Industry Lane for an extended period of time. The road was reopened around 11:18 a.m.
