One person is dead and another faces DUI charges following a crash between an ambulance and a car.
It happened just before midnight on Friday outside the Wise Avenue Volunteer Fire Company in the 200 block of Wise Avenue in Dundalk.
The ambulance was returning to the station and backing into the building when the crash happened. The ambulances emergency lights were on at the time of crash.
A Hyundai Accent crashed into the rear driver's side of the ambulance. The passenger in the Hyundai was taken to the hospital where he died. He's been identified as James Pettie, III, 30.
The driver of the car was also taken to the hospital but survived. The driver is charged with driving under the influence.
The 2 EMS providers in the ambulance were also hospitalized but are expected to be okay.
