Emergency crews have cleared the area near the Towson circle following a reported gas main leak.
Businesses were evacuated Tuesday afternoon after a gas leak was reported in Towson.
Baltimore County officials said the leak was in the 100 block of E. Joppa Road and Virginia Avenue. Streets were closed from the circle to Virginia Avenue.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
