A bus driver reported something suspicious, it turned out to be a training explosive device

WINDSOR MILL, Md. (WMAR) — An MTA bus driver called 911 to report a suspicious object on the side of Rolling Road on Thursday afternoon.

Baltimore County Police bomb techs responded and found the object to be an non-dangerous explosive device typically used for training exercises.

All businesses in the surrounding area were temporarily closed and evacuated during the investigation.

Rolling Road between Security Boulevard and Rolling Boulevard were re-opened after being shutdown temporarily.

It's unclear how the device ended up on the side of the road.
