Baltimore County Police will conduct an active shooter training exercise at Prettyboy Elementary School Friday.
The simulation will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 19810 Middletown Road in Freeland.
Officers said there will be an increased police presence at the school and in the area. The public is asked to stay away from school property.

During the exercise, actors will play the roles of parents, staff, students, and assailants. Police said the exercise will simulate a realistic response to an active shooter.
