REISTERSTOWN, Md. — An 89-year-old man is dead after the pickup truck he was driving collided with a dump truck.
Baltimore County Police say it happened on Friday around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Franklin Boulevard and Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown.

Fernando Jamie Loizaga was reportedly traveling westbound on Franklin Boulevard when he went through a red light and struck a Ford dump truck that was trying to make a left turn onto Franklin Boulevard from Nicodemus Road.
Loizaga was transported to Sinai Hospital, where he later died. The dump truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is continuing to investigate the incident.
