ROSEDALE, Md. (WMAR) — A 77-year-old man is dead after crashing into a light pole Tuesday morning in Rosedale.
It happened around 7:30 a.m on Kenwood Avenue at the intersection of Lillian Holt Drive.
Baltimore County Police say Norris Carl Assam was driving his Jeep Cherokee west on Kenwood Avenue when he didn't stop for a red light, and collided with a light pole.
Assam was taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he later died.
Right now, investigators aren't sure what caused Assam to go through the light.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating the case.
