REISTERSTOWN, Md. — A 75-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car while trying to cross Resisterstown Road Sunday evening.
It happened just north of Sherwood Avenue around 8 p.m. in Baltimore County.
Police say Evalyn Tiana Krongard of Silver Spring was hit by a Hyundai Entourage that was headed north on Reisterstown.
The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were not injured and remained on scene according to police.
Krongard was taken to Shock Trauma where she died. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
