DUNDALK, Md (WMAR) — A 64-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street.
The incident occurred on Wednesday around 6:15 p.m. on Lynch Road near Berry Road in Dundalk.
Baltimore County Police say a Nissan Versa was traveling westbound on Lynch Road when it struck Georgia Mae Elizabeth who was crossing into the north side of the street. Elizabeth, from Dundalk was transported to a hospital where she later died.
The driver remained on the scene. Baltimore County Police Crash Team detectives are investigating the cause of the crash.
No other details were released.
