ESSEX, Md. (WMAR) — A 50-year-old woman is dead after she was run over by a car Thursday afternoon.
Baltimore County Police say Barbara Ann Craighead was struck around 12:20 p.m. in the 1200 block of S. Marlyn Avenue.
She was taken to Bayview Hospital where she later died.
It's unclear what caused the crash.
Police didn't say if the driver remained on scene and if speeding, drugs, or alcohol were a factor.
