Maryland State Police say a 30-year-old Baltimore County man died in a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning.

Police say officers were called just after 7:30 a.m. to the ramp from I-95 north to the Inner Loop of I-695; upon arrival, they located the driver and a badly damage 2007 Honda Sport bike nearby. The driver was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 8:12 a.m. He has been identified as Benjamin Lovell Brabham.

Police initial investigation shows the driver was traveling north on the ramp when he lost control of his motorcycle and fell off. Upon hitting the pavement, he suffered blunt force trauma. Police say he was wearing an approved Department of Transportation helmet.

Police have not located any witnesses to the accident but ask that anyone with information come forward.
