TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) — Three Baltimore County Public Schools were briefly placed on lockout Friday afternoon.

Baltimore County Police tweeted around 2:35 p.m. that they were searching for a man possibly armed and suicidal in the 700 block of Lachlan Court.

While police searched, Towson High, Dumbarton Middle and Stoneleigh Elementary schools underwent a lockout procedure, where all exits and points of entry of the school are locked.

About a half hour later police gave the all clear and said the man had been taken into custody, allowing for the lockouts to be lifted.

It's unclear where police found the man and if he was armed or charged.
