2 injured in early morning Hunt Valley fire

A 2-alarm fire broke out just before 12:30 a.m. Monday on the 300 block of Western Run Road in Hunt Valley.
 
Baltimore County Police and Fire personnel arrived on the scene and found the entire house on fire. Two people were injured, public safety officials said.
 
An 85-year-old man was transported by helicopter to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center for treatment of serious burns. He is currently in critical condition.
 
An 80-year-old woman was also taken to the Burn Center for treatment of smoke inhalation, according to fire officials. Her condition is unknown. 
 
The fire was brought under control around 2 a.m., and is currently under investigation. The cause remains unknown.
