It's been three weeks since Detective Sean Suiter was shot while investigating a murder in West Baltimore, and the department is continuing to get support from unexpected places.

The Baltimore Police Department received a note and flowers from the New York Yankees on Wednesday. The team is showing support for the police department and Detective Suiter's family.

The FBI has yet to respond to the request to take the lead on the investigation into the murder.

Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis says he has not heard from the agency after submitting the request last week.

No one has been arrested for his death.
